1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
‍This Privacy Policy describes how Richardson Medical Corporation, a California professional corporation doing business as Richardson Direct Primary Care (“RDPC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information about visitors to our website, richardsondpc.com (the “Site”).This Policy covers the Site only. It does not cover the medical information we create or receive about you once you become a patient. Protected health information (“PHI”) is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”), the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (“CMIA”), and other applicable law. Our Notice of Privacy Practices is available on the Site and from our office.By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

‍Information you provide to us. When you fill out a contact, waitlist, or enrollment-interest form, subscribe to updates, or email us, we collect the information you choose to give us — typically your name, email address, phone number, state of residence, and the content of your message. Please do not submit detailed medical information through general website forms; clinical matters should be discussed through our secure patient communication platform once you are enrolled.Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics provider automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, approximate geographic region, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies as described below.

‍3. Cookies and Analytics
‍We use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. GA4 uses cookies and collects the technical information described above. We have configured our analytics to avoid collecting more data than we need, and Google is contractually restricted from using this data for its own purposes except as described in its terms.We do not use advertising pixels or ad-tracking technologies (such as the Meta/Facebook pixel) on the Site, and we do not use analytics data for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.You can control cookies through your browser settings and can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Because there is no common industry standard, the Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals; we treat recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — which we do not engage in regardless.

‍We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only with:• Service providers who help us run the Site and our practice — for example our website host, Google (analytics), and, once you enroll as a patient, our practice-management, electronic health record, and secure communication platforms. These providers may use your information only to provide services to us;• Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants) under duties of confidentiality;• Authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of RDPC, our patients, or others;• A successor entity in connection with a merger, reorganization, or sale of practice assets, subject to applicable medical-records law.Any service provider that handles PHI on our behalf does so under a HIPAA business associate agreement.

‍6. Your Privacy Rights
‍California residents. California’s Online Privacy Protection Act requires us to describe our practices in this Policy, which we have done above. Medical information held by our practice is protected by the CMIA. Depending on its size and revenue, a medical practice may or may not be subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”); regardless of whether the CCPA applies to us, and except where records are governed by HIPAA/CMIA rules instead, we will honor reasonable requests to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you from the Site. Submit requests using the contact information below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.North Carolina and other residents. We extend the same access, correction, and deletion practices described above to residents of all states. Patient medical records are subject to separate rules described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

‍7. Children’s Privacy
‍The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information through the Site, contact us and we will delete it. (This does not limit our ability to treat minor patients enrolled by a parent or guardian under a membership agreement.)

‍8. Security and Retention
‍We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) for the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain website inquiry information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law; patient medical records are retained in accordance with applicable medical-records retention law.

‍We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above. If we make material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
