Dr. Beronie Richardson founded Richardson Direct Primary Care to practice medicine the way it was meant to be: centered on the patient, not the paperwork. With training in both medicine (MD) and public health (MPH), he brings a whole-person approach to primary care that looks beyond symptoms to the factors that shape your long-term health.
In a Direct Primary Care model, there are no insurance middlemen. That means longer visits, direct access to your physician by phone or text, and the time to build a genuine, trusting relationship. Whether you are managing a chronic condition, focused on prevention, or simply want a doctor who truly knows you, Dr. Richardson is here to partner with you and your family.

Insurance-based primary care runs on volume. A typical physician carries two thousand patients or more, which works out to a few minutes each and a
great deal of paperwork that has nothing to do with your health.
Direct primary care inverts that. A much smaller panel, no insurance billing, and a flat fee paid directly to me. The result is time — enough of it to
actually listen, and enough capacity that you can reach me when something's wrong instead of waiting three weeks.
The public health training shapes how I practice. I care about what prevents disease, not only what treats it, and I care that good care is something
people can actually get to. Virtual practice lets me reach patients across North Carolina who don't have this option nearby.
