Richardson Direct Primary Care, PLLC · Effective date: September 2, 2026
What this policy covers
This policy explains what information Richardson Direct Primary Care, PLLC (“RDPC,” “we,” “us”) collects through richardsondpc.com and how we use it.
This policy does not cover your medical records. If you become a member, the health information we create and maintain as your physician is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices and by federal and North Carolina law, not by this policy. Those protections are stronger than the ones described here. You can read that notice at richardsondpc.com/notice-of-privacy-practices.
Information you give us
Waitlist and contact forms. When you join our waitlist or contact us, we collect the information you enter -typically your name, email address, ZIP code, and anything you choose to write in a message field.
Please do not send us detailed health information through website forms, by email, or through any unencrypted channel. Email and web forms are not secure. Once you are a member, we will give you a secure portal for anything clinical.
Enrollment. Enrollment is handled by our practice platform, not by this website. When you enroll, you leave richardsondpc.com and enter a separate system operated by our vendor under a business associate agreement. That system has its own privacy terms.
Payment information. We never see or store your card or bank account numbers. Payments are processed by our platform’s payment processor.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our site we automatically receive standard technical information: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, and the site or search that referred you.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives this technical information. We have configured it not to collect information from any page where you might enter health details. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your information entirely by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Our cookie practices are described in our Cookie Notice at richardsondpc.com/cookies.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with data brokers.
We do not place advertising or social media tracking pixels on any page where you can enter health information.
We do not use information you give us before you become a patient to make any decision about your care.
How we use your information
We use what you give us to respond to you, to notify you when enrollment opens, to send you information about the practice if you have asked for it, to operate and improve the website, and to comply with law.
If you join the waitlist, we will email you about the practice. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and we honor it immediately.
Who we share it with
Service providers. We use vendors to host the site, deliver email, and analyze traffic. They may access your information only to perform those services for us and may not use it for their own purposes.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where necessary to protect the safety of any person.
Business transfer. If the practice is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction. If that happens, we will post notice on this site before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time, ask us to delete the information you have given us, or ask us what we hold about you. Write to support@richardsondpc.com or call 980-360-5480 and we will respond within thirty days.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and certain other states have additional rights regarding personal information under state law. If you are a resident of one of those states, contact us and we will honor those rights regardless of whether we are legally required to.
Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information transmitted through this site, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our practice does serve patients aged 6 and older. Enrollment for a minor is completed by a parent or legal guardian through our enrollment platform, not through this website.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after we post a change means you accept it.
